ABOUT
KIRSTEN KOPPANG TELFORD
CANADA
Kirsten is a serial entrepreneur who has been coaching, mentoring and leading teams for more than 25 years.
Kirsten’s greatest strengths lay in her ability to catalyze growth and innovation in individuals and teams, helping individuals to thrive within aligned, cohesive teams, focussed on collective success.
Kirsten’s first company provided marketing and communications strategy to dotcom start-ups, as an arm of a Venture-backed tech Incubator. Her second company took lessons learned from those early tech start-ups and used them to help public sector teams develop and implement strategies that used the Internet to improve communities.
In 2012, Kirsten co-founded ePACT Network, an Electronic Health Records System used by thousands of municipal recreation providers, camps, sports teams, and youth programs to manage health and emergency information for participants.
In 2019, faced with the need to scale quickly, Kirsten and her Co-Founder found themselves desperate for a system that would help them to manage execution as the company evolved, tackle the team challenges that seemed to increase with scale, and identify and align the team to the strategy that would ultimately lead to success. Kirsten’s ‘aha’ moment came when a fellow entrepreneur introduced Metronomics. The team implemented Metronomics, and credit it with keeping the team motivated, focussed and aligned, especially through the tumultuous months of the pandemic, leading to a successful exit in 2022.
Kirsten holds a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Victoria. Kirsten splits her time between Vancouver BC, London England, and Phoenix Arizona.
