April Bain is the founder of The GRIT Group, partnering with growth-minded CEOs to align their teams and accelerate meaningful business growth. She works best with companies that have solid product-market fit and ambitious plans to scale, particularly those led by hands-on entrepreneurs, including many who acquired their business and are now ready to grow it with intention. April’s work is grounded in helping organizations pursue mastery of their operations, knowing that excellence is an ongoing process and there’s always another iteration. Known for her sharp intuition and ability to identify patterns that aren’t always explicitly stated, April brings a fresh perspective to complex challenges. Her superpower is listening deeply — not just to what’s being said, but to what’s not — and helping leaders surface insights that unlock new paths forward. As an energetic and engaging facilitator, she creates full-room participation and drives strategic conversations that lead to alignment, action, and momentum. April began her career on Goldman Sachs’ trading floor before moving into strategy consulting with Deloitte. She then spent 15 years in education, driven by a passion for empowering others to reach for their potential. Most recently, she led the Entrepreneurial Studies program at Hawken School in Cleveland, where she partnered with local founders to bring experiential learning to life. This work reignited her own entrepreneurial spark and love for strategic, intentional problem-solving - ultimately leading her back into the business world. Since transitioning into coaching, April has immersed herself in multiple operating systems and certifications, but none have matched the power, cohesion, and clarity of the Metronomics Framework. As a coach, she’s seen her clients’ strategic conversations deepen, their teams align, and their revenue climb - with every single client retained to date. April believes that people genuinely want to do well and be excellent - and with the right system, rhythm, and mindset (and coach), that journey becomes not only possible, but invigorating. April earned her B.S. from the University of Virginia’s McIntire School of Commerce and holds a Master’s from The University of Southern California. Outside of work, April serves on the Board of Directors for Hershey Montessori School, volunteering with The Cleveland Museum of Art Womens Council, or coaching youth soccer. She’s at her happiest watching her 3 kids in motion - whether on the soccer field, at the ice rink, hiking a trail, or exploring a new part of the world together.
